The beams around the property are very low so "Duck or Grouse" as we say in England. Be especially careful if you have imbibed in the falling down juice before retiring to bed.

The woods are available to all for cycling, walking or, if you brought your horse, riding. Also feel free to wander over the fields but watch out for the electric fences. It is advisable to wear long trousers tucked into socks or boots as the wood is full of nature with their residents, ie deer ticks. Luck should bring some great sitings of Deer, Owls, Buzzards, Hen Harriers, Woodpeckers etc.

Down by the pond you may be very lucky to see coypu (aquatic beaver) but they are quite shy. There have been many sitings of barn owls and they have, from time to time, taken residence in the chimney so if you hear a cough in the night and its not you or your family, they are probably back. The skies here are unpolluted and totally black once dusk falls, watch out for the treat of a shooting star or two.
