The pond is well stocked with fish and they are partial to a little bread ("pain" in French!) at sunset if you have any left over. Please if you have young children keep them under your jurisdiction at all times round waterways, our pond, or any other water course.
There are dogs at the third house up the lane, two black ones, the large one being Beethoven who likes to keep himself to himself and has a routine of going off round our pond behind the barn and off into the fields. He is not sociable. The other black one, whose name seems to be in dispute, is quite friendly. The little one is a Jack Russell called Petunia who is very friendly and a real scrounger.
If you do have a great spot or an interesting situation please write a brief note about it for the rest of us to share. Even if you are not sure what it was you saw just say what you know.
